It’s the middle of the week for some, but for others, like you, it’s a new moment in which each and every particle of your being is made afresh.  The crumples in your pyjama bottoms didn’t exist last night, and will be smoothed out and rippled somewhere else by the time you awake again tomorrow.  The teeth you cleaned have not an ounce of what was there yesterday, their dentene and enamel reconstructed overnight by the busy worker-bees who keep your body ticking over, year in, year out.  When you smile at yourself in the mirror, you’ll see someone who exists only in this second, only in this light, only in this galaxy.  Say hello from me, say good-bye from the me you knew you yesterday.
