Jackie Bailey was the perfect wedding celebrant for us, a same-sex couple from outside Australia who were registering our marriage and holding our wedding in Sydney. Her institutional knowledge of procedures and paperwork, and her clear instructions (via texts and Zoom meetings) removed any administrative hurdle that non-Australians like us might have faced in the process. On the day of the ceremony itself, Jackie was truly phenomenal. She was organised and efficient, but so friendly at the same time. She has the uncanny ability to put everybody at ease, whether they were nervous grooms or the twenty guests in the hotel suite where the ceremony was conducted. She also went the extra mile for us in securing a floral centrepiece and boutonniè€res from a florist in Sydney, which she brought with her on the day of the wedding ceremony, for which we are deeply grateful. It would have been a challenge for us to arrange these from overseas. We highly recommend Jackie as a wedding celebrant and organiser for any couple who wish to get married in and around Sydney.
